Nespresso Boutique at The Domain, Austin, TX

Highlighting the sustainability mission of Nespresso alongside what makes Austin such a unique and vibrant city, we set out to blend coffee culture with local landmarks, highlighting the infinite circularity of materials in the timeless medium of mosaics all throughout the mural. 

Set alongside recycled glass and tile are customized porcelain "moments" made at The Mosaic Workshop by Hope Hummingbird, local artists, and Nespresso staff, with stamped textures such as native Texas tree leaves, colorful imagery, and words that speak directly to the site and company aesthetic and philosophy. Pressed aluminum coffee capsules are even repurposed as tesserae next to natural stone that was unearthed right underfoot during the store's construction.
