Based on a digital collage of layered imagery including the nearby New Jersey coastline, magical Buttermilk Falls, evocative bold strokes, and a touch of shimmering gold tiles, the composition is imbued with a collective effervescence and serene healing aura.

Composed of tens of thousands of hand-placed vitreous glass tiles, the RWJBH staff, partners, and extended families, friends, and community members worked side-by-side to bring this mural to life. In record time, hundreds of volunteers came together to help build the mural. Emphasizing the interplay of highlights and shadows, iridescent tiles are quilted together with pixelated precision and coalesce to form an expressive abstract landscape, leaving an impression of depth, scale, and magnitude with the viewer, refreshing passersby with its gentle, cool, uplifting ombre.
