My Walls Unite mural of Fedelina Rivera depicts the vocal activist who stood against the polluting Tank Farms in her neighborhood of East Austin in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Bringing the strong and striking image of her holding her grandson, watchfully looking on from the area immediately affected by this issue, her work and struggle represent the success of the community to change the corporation mindset and move the tanks so that East Austinites could live peacefully in a clean environment with good health.
