CapMetro McKalla Station Mosaic Mural

I’M CREATING A COLLABORATIVE MOSAIC MURAL

AND I NEED YOUR HELP!

In collaboration with CapMetro, I’m embarking on the creation of a large-scale public art mosaic mural, which will be comprised of over 100,000 glass tiles! The mural will be installed permanently at the newly renovated McKalla Station next to Q2 Stadium in north Austin.

Once the design is approved, I’ll host workdays throughout the summer at Something Cool Studios where volunteers like YOU can help place glass tile “pixels” into grids (just like that picture above), getting the murals ready for installation. It’s super lowkey — no experience necessary! Anyone of any age can do it with a little patience.
