The Mosaic Workshop Grand Opening
We started The Mosaic Workshop in 2018 to bring the art of mosaic making to people from all walks of life affordably and accessibly. Now, six years later, I’ve finally opened a dedicated mosaic studio, the only one in Austin! And I’m stoked to invite you to the first annual Mosaic Fest, The Mosaic Workshop’s 🎊 GRAND OPENING 🎊
It’s going to be an incredible week packed with creativity and tiles for miles, featuring a lineup of amazing workshops where you can create everything from a cute succulent planter to a mandala coffee table.
The Mosaic Workshop is the culmination of years of hard work and passion for bringing people together through public art and collaborative artmaking opportunities. This studio represents not only a place to work on my increasingly ambitious studio art and commissions, but also a community hub where people can gather, learn, and share in the joy of creating. This is the very core of my artistic practice, and I couldn’t be prouder or more excited to share it with
Grand opening celebrations begin with a giant party on Friday, June 28 from 7–10pm. We’re keeping the party going all weekend long with tons of awesome workshops. Create jewelry, coffee tables, planters, stained glass, and more!

We’re also unveiling our 2024 series of Legends Project mosaics. The Legends Project is an ongoing series of 36 (and soon to be over 40) mosaic portraits as public art that depict cultural leaders who have impacted Austin and beyond! This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department. Thanks for keeping Austin creative!
