Roger Lavon Taylor Sr. dedicated himself to preserving the former Mueller Airport Control Tower, ensuring it would remain a lasting landmark for future generations. This mosaic honors his legacy through imagery of his graduation portrait, his iconic truck, the Mueller Tower, JJ Seabrook Greenbelt signage, and scenes of neighborhood gatherings. Created with dozens of community volunteers at The Mosaic Workshop, the artwork celebrates the people, places, and collective spirit that continue to shape the Mueller community.
